Build the Space Shuttle Discovery with The Atom Brick. The building set features the three main parts of the Space Shuttle: the orbiter, the External Tank, and the two Solid Rocket Boosters. The Building Manual extends the build experience and features extensive detail on the history and flights of the Space Shuttle Discovery.

Discovery was the first orbiter to take flight after the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster,  in 1988 and the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, in 2006. Notably, Space Shuttle Discovery would be used to launching a number of highly sophisticated pieces of equipment including the Hubble Space Telescope and Ulysses space craft.

Today, Discovery can be found on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum at Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia.
