A few weeks ago, we were approached by Steve Polansky, asking if we thought a new Vickie would have any interest. Of course we said YES, and he sent us one for y'all. We provided a standard bridle and a p300 frame, all Steve did all of the sewing and attachments on the kite.
From Steve "Just a note on that Vickie variant, I put the down spar in front of the string that it crosses."
So, here's the thing. Steve isn't making any more of these, we aren't making these, and Alden Miller is considering making them again, but that's a vague "maybe yes maybe no, I've got a lot of things I'm working on these days".
Long story short is "get it while we've got it, because there may or may not be more available later".
