The TC Ultra was one of those kites that changed kiting. It can be flown as dual line or quad line and is a super fun kite!
These kites are from the collection of Lisa Willoughby, all custom made for her. They have all been flown, but are in overall good condition. Please note that they all show corrosion on the metal that was used as standoff connectors to the sail. All are still in flyable condition and the fittings are sturdy.
All kites come with 2 upper spreaders. The short one is for flying the kite as a dual line. The long one is for flying the kite as a quad line.
Notes on individual kites -
Purple / Pink / Blue - shows some sun fading on the lower right wing, near the standoff connectors. Shows wear near the center tee, the standoffs, and along the leading edge. The leading edge has some small holes that we did not patch, as we don't want to add something tacky touching the leading edge stick. In the photo, if you zoom in on the right wing, near the standoff, you'll see three aforementioned fading. This is a low vent, with 2 vent panels.
Dark Blue / Yellow / Purple - in the best condition of the group. A bit of leading edge damage on the right side is the only major note. The damaged spot has a small hole that we did not patch, as we don't want to add something tacky touching the leading edge stick. This is a low vent, with 2 vent panels
(Claimed) Light Blue / Pink - shows some wear below the nose, at the spine where the upper spreader has worn, and at the center tee. A tiny bit of wear on the leading edge, but no torn fabric. This is the highest vent, with 6 vent panels.
(Claimed) Black / Light Blue / Purple - also in really good condition. The black ripstop has picked up a couple of spots of dirt, but nothing major. Very minor wear and tear, almost the same condition as the Dark Blue one. This one is middle vent, with 4 vent panels.
